Re:Gender President's Letter to the Editor Published in The New York Times
Áine Duggan, responding to an op-ed about sexism in the restaurant industry, stressed the need to apply a full, intersectional gender lens to understand the scope of problem. The October 26th Letter to the Editor highlights data that shows women and men working in the industry suffer sexual harassment at almost identical rates , while transgender workers are targets at higher rates than commonly understood.
